Dean began working with Larry Myhre back in 1995 at what was then known as Great Pacific Management. Dean and Larry maintained their partnership throughout many company and industry changes, until Larry's retirement at the end of 2017. Dean is now the Senior Investment Advisor in the office and is happy to help with all your investment needs.
Jennifer started working for Dean and Larry in 2012. As an Associate Investment Advisor, she is happy to help you with just about anything, from booking appointments to placing trades, or addressing any operational questions you may have.
Connor joined iA Private Wealth in 2024 after graduating from VIU, and is eager to learn the ropes with our branch as an Administrative Assistant while he completes his licencing requirements. He is happy to help when you call or visit the office, whether you need an appointment booked or are looking for assistance with an account or question.
Meet The Team
Dean was born in North Vancouver but moved to the Cowichan Valley at an early age and grew up in Cobble Hill. He raised his own family here and enjoys all that Vancouver Island life has to offer, from craft breweries and spectacular vineyards to ocean fishing and back-country exploring.
Dean has two adult children and a lab named Josie. He is proud to have served Duncan and the surrounding communities for nearly 30 years as an Investment Advisor.
Jen was born and raised in Cranbrook but moved to the Island in 2006 to finish her degree. After obtaining her BA at UVic, she ventured north to Duncan, then to Crofton, and most recently to Ladysmith, where she now lives with her husband, their two sons and a bull terrier name Indy.
In spring and summer you can find Jen hiking the many trails in the Cowichan Valley or trying to stay on her paddle board at Transfer Beach. In fall and winter her spare time is spent almost exclusively in hockey arenas, either watching her sons play or taking part in a game with her women's rec team.
Connor was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, and now resides in North Cowichan with his fiancée and their Australian Shepherd, Tommy. He spent much of his childhood playing hockey and later played Jr B and Jr A for the Kerry Park Islanders and Cowichan Capitals.
Connor recently graduated from VIU with a BBA - major in finance, while coaching youth hockey on the Island. He plans to merge his financial knowledge with his passion for coaching to help others achieve their financial goals.
Outside of work, Connor enjoys golfing with friends and hiking local trails. In the winter months, he is often at the arena working with developing competitive players or cheering on his two younger brothers as they pursue their own hockey dreams.
